Ashling Cole, or as her adoring fans call her – “BISCUIT” is one of the most dynamic vocalists the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer.  Her soaring voice and unparalleled professionalism make her a first call talent in the arena of R&B, funk and gospel.

Biscuit spends most of her time performing and touring with legendary bassist, Larry Graham and Graham Central Station. In the last 2 years GCS has toured Europe several times, Japan, and the U.S. Highlights include opening for Prince for crowds topping 60,000 at Werchter Boutique, Madison Square Garden, and Arena's in Oakland and San Jose, California. Needless to say, this exposure is taking Biscuit far beyond the Bay Area. The world is quickly finding out what we already know around these parts – that Biscuit is a star!  Graham Central Station has a new album in the works and continued touring. Go to LarryGraham.com for more details.

Biscuit knew from the beginning she wanted to be a singer, and at 6 years old when she came to her parents and said, "this is what I was meant to do!", they knew they had to do something quick! She was enrolled in the San Francisco Girls chorus, where she spent 6 years studying opera, choir directing and music theory. It was the best training a little girl with her determination could get. Then came a love for musical theatre, so she joined The Academy of Media and Theatre Arts and The American Conservatory Theatre (A.C.T.), which provided her with an array of skills including sight reading, dance and comprehensive actor training, contributing to the arsenal of knowledge that would later help her remain versatile and in demand.

It was only a matter of time before her talent was broadly recognized and after guidance from her manager at the time, Bobby McCall and her friends in Digital Underground, an audition with Interscope Records executive John McClain set her on her way.

Since then she’s worked with some of the industries finest - Jeffrey Osborne, Patti Austin, Jimmy Cliff, George Clinton and P-Funk, The Rolling Stones , Mint Condition, and Prince, to name a few.

BISCUIT continues to work with an all-star roster of Bay Area musicians as part of her own band, “6 Piece and a Biscuit” or lending her talents to her comrades projects and shows. A few of the core members are:
